Who sets the CVRT fees?
- Pricing for CVRT is controlled by the RSA and every test centre charges the same fee.
What do I need bring with me on the day of the test?
- The vehicle, your driver’s licence as ID and the payment.
What happens if my vehicle fails?
- You will receive a Fail Statement from the test centre
- This will allow you 21days or 4000kms (whichever comes first) to attend to the repairs and to book your vehicle for retest.
- The retest fee is half the full test price. A visual retest does not incur a charge.
What happens if I miss the required return date for retest or am over the allowed mileage?
- If you do not re-test within the 21 days or 4000km, a full test will be required and will incur the full test fee again.
